Easter is one of the most festive events among Christians worldwide. Usually, Easter celebrations start after Lent, a 40-day period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline in preparation for Easter, has been observed.

This Sunday known as Easter Sunday, commemorates Jesus Christ’s resurrection from death, as written in the Christian bible and many Christians worldwide celebrate Easter with special church services, music, candlelight, flowers and the ringing of church bells.

Forget Easter eggs, bunnies, pretzels and hot cross buns, Easter is really a time in which Christians  meditate and spend time with God. Obviously, this isn’t a one-size-fits-all endeavor, so how someone chooses to celebrate Easter is a very individual decision.
